Multidimensional data extraction from scanning quadrupole SWATH data
Presenter: Stephen Tate, Software and Applications Research Manager, SCIEX
Abstract:
Novel Data Independent Acquisition methods are provide opportunities for multidimension data deconvolution using the both the fragment ions profile from the isolation quadrupole and the LC dimension. These enhancements provide increased confidence in data assignment over standard Data Independent Analysis methods. Scanning methods operate at fast cycle times with data collection rates equivalent to the pulse frequency of TOF instruments. Using these fast data rates it is possible to assign fragments to all parent ions providing an accurate picture of the sample.
As the resolution of the quadrupole scan is greater than the normal quadrupole isolation width we will show mathematical deconvolution of co-isolating precursors in DDA, and spectral deconvolution of pesticide mixtures which are equivalent to standard library spectra.
Each hub (Lorne, Sydney and Brisbane) will have a selection of posters available for viewing.
Every poster will also be presented as a 3-minute video recording on the virtual conference platform.
