Clare E O'Lone

Clare O’Lone is a PhD candidate with the food and agriculture proteomics group in the ARC Centre of Excellence for Innovations in Peptide and Protein Sciences laboratory at ECU. Her research focuses on using LC-MS/MS technologies to explore proteomic understanding of malt barley grain germination, to inform breeding strategies for improved barley varieties. Her research background is in crop molecular genetics at UWA, undertaking genome sequencing and molecular marker development for selective breeding. Clare is passionate about agriculture, with a keen interest in barley, malt and beer.
